Bought some cheap metal 'Fiat' dust caps for my spider last week from China.
They looked ok.
However............ I went to drive my Spider yesterday and immediately had a warning chime and the tyre pressure indicator light illuminate.
I checked the tyre pressures and they had all dropped by between 6 and 8 psi.
I discovered that the small rubber ring insert inside the dust caps was actually just touching the needle on each valve and presumably when I hit a bump it released a small amount of air.
I have replaced the new metal caps with the original plastic caps.
After adjusting the tyres to the correct pressure and resetting the TPI all is good.
Not so 'showy' but far more practical.
